Customs Duties

The Embassy issues, upon request, a Baggage Certificate in cases of permanent return, under the law granting exemption from customs duties to Mozambican citizens who have resided abroad for more than one year.

Note: Regarding vehicles, the applicant must have owned the vehicle for at least 180 days.
